Himchan smiled to himself as the girl that every guy wanted walked by. She tells all the boys no because it makes her feel good. He knew that the she was out of his league, that she was just too good for him, but he wasn't going to let that scare him away. She's been going through life like this for so long. She couldn't stop if she tried.
Himchan racked his brain for an excuse to talk to her, but he was going to try somehow. He stood up out of his chair as she made her way to the door with her cup of fresh green tea.
He did his best to act as if he just happened to leave at the same time as he opened the door for her. His knees went weak when she looked up at him with those wonderful eyes, smile and let out a barely audible "thank you" to him. He took a deep breath and built up his courage. He started to walk toward the direction she went in with his head down and looked up to see her looking back at him.
She gave him her smile again and brushed her fingers through her hair. "Himchan, right?" She asked shyly.
Himchan felt himself blush as he froze in his spot and he was thankful that she let him recover. "Uh, yes. Himchan."
"Is there something I could help you with?" She tilted her head to the side.
"I was wondering if you wanted to maybe go on a date with me." He scratched the back of his head.
He could see the wheels turning in her head as she bit her lip. "When?"
Himchan stopped his mouth from dropping and shrugged. "When's good for you?"
"How about now?" She asked with a sly smile.
"Uh," Himchan was taken back when she agreed, "if that's what's good for you, then yes. Now is wonderful."
She raised an eyebrow and smiled while putting her head down. Himchan sighed as he thought of what to do on such short notice. "Anything you have in mind?"
"I like water and lights." She hinted.
"Do you want to go to the river?" Himchan asked slowly.
She nodded her head.
"Well, then. Shall we?" He asked as he held out his arm for her to take. She wrapped her arm through his with a smile as she let him lead her away.
Himchan was wary of the whole situation and how she so suddenly accepted his offer. He felt like he was walking on glass the whole way to the bridge over the river, which wasn't too far away when he decided to ask her a question.
"Why did you agree to this?"
"You kind of agreed to this actually." She avoided answering his question directly.
"You didn't answer my question." He called her out with a smile.
"True." She laughed and looked down in thought. "Well, I wanted to go see the river and you thankfully took the hint." She waited until after Himchan chuckled to keep talking. "I didn't have much of anything else to do really. I was just going to go back home and sit." She shrugged and pursed her lips in thought. "I guess the big reason I agreed is because you seem like an interesting person. You just let all the girls go by. I was curious to see if I could find out.... And it doesn't hurt that you're quite beautiful."
Himchan stopped in his tracks and opened his mouth to say something, but couldn't think of a thing to say. He felt like he was walking into some kind of trap.
"It's okay if you want to leave though. I know I'm blunt about things. It scares them all away, but I can't help myself. My mouth goes to fast for my mind... But I am telling the truth." She was almost talking to herself as she pulled Himchan along.
Himchan shook the skeptic feeling and smiled. "So, you think I'm beautiful?"
"I said what I meant and I meant what I said." She nodded her head firmly.
Himchan chuckled as she pointed to the entrance of the bridge. "There it is!" She said excitedly and nudged him. "You're lucky that the sun is already setting."
Himchan shook his head as they walked onto the bridge. He watched as she looked over the edge with a childish smile and point to the lights of the awakening night life of the city.
Himchan let her blab on and on about this and that while he admired her in the setting sun. She stopped at the peak of the bridge and the wind just so happened to pick up the perfect amount. Her hair flew about her face while she reached out for Himchan's hand.
"I actually don't get asked out much." She told him while she braided her fingers with his. "I was praying that you'd ask me when you opened the door for me."
"I'm sorry it didn't go exactly how you planned." Himchan laughed.
"Better late than never." She shrugged as she leaned on the railing.
Himchan couldn't help himself. He reached out his hand to make her face him. He looked in her eyes and he smiled when he realized she was staring at his lips. He brought up his other hand to brush her hair from her face. He didn't have to ask to kiss her because she stood up on her tip toes.
He leaned in and let their lips meet. She opened her mouth ever so slightly to let him in. Himchan could feel the sparks and felt dizzy as she pulled away with a coy smile.
"Would you let me see beneath your beautiful tonight?" He whispered  while their heads were still close together. He felt a nagging need to have her and he knew that he could ruin everything they could have with that question. He swallowed hard.
He heard her soft voice whisper, "Please don't hurt me."
What's this? I blew off my homework to start writing? SHOCKER. Not really. I just feel like I need to get the other part of this done and put it in the queueeueueueueueueueu so you all don't have to wait for ever for it. I don't care that it's 2 in the morning. I never get sleep really anyway. Off to write moar!
