Yongguk hung his coat up on the bar as he sat back down in the chair with the map unfolded in front of him. He couldn't focus as he looked at the map. He felt a dull pain in his chest as he looked at the point where she would be. There was miles and miles between the two of them, but it was only finger-lengths to where she'd be.
The paper crinkled underneath his touch as he closed his eyes and sighed. His hands ran through his hair as another breath escaped his lips only this time frustrated.
He could hear his fellow members around him and he knew that they were worried about their leader's well-being and he really did feel bad about it, but he got like this when he didn't get to see her. Their words just distant noises once they got done with work. The lyrics that usually flowed so easily from under the pen didn't come and left the page blank.
He lay his head down on the table and he wanted so badly to be in her warm arms. He just wanted badly to take a deep breath and be able to smell her sweet scent. He just wanted to see her.
He could hear her voice in his mind as he drifted off. It was like music to his ears. His head shot up as he grabbed the pen and scribbled words onto paper.

"Yongguk." Someone shook his body.
He lifted his head up with a confused groggy look. "Wh-what?"
"You really should head off to bed, Yongguk." Himchan gave him a smile.
"What time is it?" Yongguk asked.
"Time for you to stop worrying me and go to bed." Himchan answered as he started to clean Yongguk's mess.
"I need to finish this though." Yongguk whined.
"I thought you said you finished it." Himchan sighed.
"I did?"
"Yes," Himchan nodded. "You said those exact words and put your head down and went to sleep."
"Oh," Yongguk stood up.
"Is everything okay?" Himchan asked.
"Yeah," Yongguk waved him off.
"I'd miss her, too."
"What?" Yongguk's head shot up.
"I said, 'I would miss her, too.'" Himchan repeated.
When Yongguk didn't answer, Himchan kept going.
"You're just really scaring me- all of us really. I worry about you."
"I'm fine." Yongguk answered as if her were out of breath.
"We both know that's a lie." Himchan answered. "Let's just go to bed, okay?"
"Okay." Yongguk replied with a sad smile.
"Maybe you can call her sometime?" Himchan wrapped his arm around Yongguk's shoulder. "I know we give our phones up while we're working, but I think it would be for the better." Himchan put a phone in Yongguk's hand and smiled. "Well, I'm off to bed now."
Yongguk stared at the phone and then to his retreating friend and back to the phone. He smiled as he dialed her number.
"Yeoboseyo?" Her confused, groggy voice spoke into his ear and he felt relieved to hear her voice again.
"I miss you so much." He smiled into the phone.
A little rusty I am... It's not the best, but it's something. God, I'm tired. Sorry if this isn't as great as it should be after my break/school crap. I'll try to write better in the future and when I'm not sleep deprived.
