Haunted house with Daehyun

Her hand squeezed his own when she burrowed her face into his chest. Daehyun's lips formed into a smile as he looked at the line ahead of them
"I'm so excited for the haunted house, Daehyun!" She squealed into his chest.
"I know." Daehyun chuckled. "You haven't shut your cute, little mouth about the whole thing since we decided to come."
"I love haunted house things so much!" She looked up to him as she spoke.
"More than me?" Himchan teased her.
She scrunched her nose at him in reply as she stood on her tip toes to kiss him. He leaned down to close the distance between their lips.
The line was moving surprisingly fast as they waited in the cool of the night. Daehyun stood behind her with his hands around her neck and leaned on her as they waited. Her hands grabbed onto his forearms as she let out a sigh.
"What?" Daehyun asked.
She giggled. "I'm a dragon."
Daehyun shook his head and chuckled at her. "You're silly."
She smiled at him and let out another breath, followed by another giggle. Daehyun barely heard her whisper the word "dragon" again as she did.
Daehyun peeled his eyes off her for a moment to look around. The front of the line wasn't too far away now when he looked around. He turned his head just as the wonderful scent of hot chocolate hit his nose.
"Wait here for just a moment." Daehyun said as he left her confused to get them some hot chocolate.
The bundled up ajummas behind the counter smiled at him as he neared. "What can I get you, honey."
"Two hot chocolates, please." Daehyun smiled as he presented the money on the counter.
"Here you are, darling." She said as she handed him the hot chocolates.
"Thank you!" Daehyun bowed his head slightly as he turned back to her. He made his way quickly back and put a hot chocolate in her chilled fingers.
"How did you know I wanted some?" She asked.
"I wanted some for myself and I didn't want to share." Daehyun shrugged his shoulders with a wink before he brought the warm drink to his lips.
She giggled and lifted a hand quickly to the bottom of Daehyun's cup to tip it up. Daehyun let out a muffled scream of despair as he leaped back, saving himself from the little bit of liquid that fell.
"You're wasting good hot chocolate!" He yelled at her.
She simply stuck out her tongue with a smirk and a giggle.
Daehyun glared at her with a smile creeping onto his face, breaking his act. They bantered back and forth when Daehyun wouldn't let her pay for her own ticket even when they were getting on the the hay wagon on the back of a tractor, but she was soon shushed by the man that took their tickets speaking.
"Are you ready?" He screamed over top of all of the noise.
The crowd yelled back almost in unison a loud "yes" while some of them let out excited screams. The tractor jerked into motion and everyone just about fell off of the hay bales they were seated on. She grabbed onto his arm with an excited, little squeal and a squeeze of his hand.
Daehyun was looking around when she let out a scream of surprise and he whipped his head around to see a hockey masked person right beside him.
"Well, hello." Daehyun jumped and grabbed his heart. "You weren't there before."
The masked man didn't say anything to him as he made his way down the side of the hay wagon to startle others. She giggled as he went away and Daehyun smiled back at her.
They came to an abrupt stop with people banging on things and making noise. One of them, dressed as a clown, climbed aboard and sat by a screaming girl.
"What's wrong?" The clown asked the girl as she covered her face and turned away from him into one of her friends. "I won't hurt you." He let out a psychotic laugh.
Daehyun laughed and the clown quickly turned to him. "Do you like juggling?"
Daehyun pressed his back into the side of the wagon as the clown got off the ride and grabbed three large, distorted balls.
The tractor jerked back into motion as the clown started to juggle the distorted balls. Daehyun squinted his eyes to realize they were heads. He could tell she noticed as she let out laugh.
The tractor made it's way behind a field and passed more people banging on things and some were even playing with something electrical. Sparks went flying as they passed and he felt her squeeze his arm a little tighter while she shut her eyes tight.
The tractor came to a final stop in front of steps to get down. There was a person dressed as an old lady.
"Watch your step now." She said. "Hurry up now." She went on. "I'm not getting any younger now."
Her voice faded as Daehyun lead the way into fences with corn stalks on them, making it a makeshift corn field. There was barely and lights and when there was, they were strobe lights, making everything seem like a stop-motion movie. Daehyun turned a corner and there was suddenly a were-wolf in his face.
It took him a good three seconds before he let out a scream. He heard her laughing and he was going to scold her for doing so, but stopped.
She looked up to see the same were-wolf in her face. She jumped back with a scream and it was Daehyun's turn to laugh. Daehyun held out his hand for her and she grabbed it with a stubborn smile.
They twisted and turned and walked in circles around the corn stalks with people standing in wait, almost perfectly hidden in the corn stalks, for someone to scare. The same were-wolf seemed to be not too far behind them every time they turned to figure out which way to go next.
She eventually pointed to the entrance of a doorway and they walked out of the maze of corn. Strobe lights flashed as they made their way into a room filled with hockey masks. Daehyun had his fingers wrapped tightly around hers as they walked through the room. The lights flashed and Daehyun suddenly found a sword in his face.
"Sword." Daehyun stated simply while he stared at it. He followed the tip to the holder in a window above the rest of the masks and laughed.
"Oh my gosh!" She pointed to the man with the sword as they left the room.
The haunted house seemed to go on forever as they made their way through rooms with fake rats and spiders. She lead the way around a corner and screamed.
"Don't you like snakes?" The man dressed as a vampire hissed as he held a real snake around his shoulders. "I'm more likely to bite you, my pretty."
Daehyun's brow furrowed as he clutched her hand to his side. He gave the man an angry look as they passed into another room.
Daehyun and her were lifted into the air, both letting out screams, and looked to the ground to see a contraption that lifted people into the air. The next room was spinning. Literally. They let go of each other's hand to grip the railing as the patterned, circular wall spin this way and that.
"I can barely walk with out this factor!" She yelled as she reached the end of the room. That evoked a chuckle from Daehyun.
There seemed to be a never ending line of rooms and corn as they went and they finally made it to a black and white patterned room. The pattern played tricks on their eyes and made them both confused they walked around the middle of the room into a little doorway, only to be led through the same place. They walked in a circle and they both looked for an exit.
Daehyun turned his head to see a set of eyes staring back at him.
"Ah!" He screamed pointing to the well hidden person blending in with the pattern of the room. The person gave him a creepy smile as she pulled his hand with a giggle.
Daehyun turned to see a panda hat bobbing around the room. The hat bumped into a tall guy and he looked down at her with a confused look.
"I don't remember being with a panda." He said down to the girl.
Daehyun let out a laugh as he was dragged through the exit of the haunted house and towards the waiting hay bale wagon.
They both sat on the hay bales as they were brought back to the place they got on. Daehyun held her hand as she pointed to all of the lanterns and all as they made their way through the little shop in the building, back to the car.
"Have fun?" Daehyun asked her.
"Very much so." She replied with a grin.
"Good." Daehyun nodded as he flicked his wrist to turn on the car. "That's good."
